Anna Papij – Melbourne Personal Trainer

Personal training in Greensborough and Doncaster East, Melbourne

I know what it’s like to have unfavourable genetics and I understand the struggle for a healthy weight. I know how challenging it is getting fit and in shape. I also know what it feels like to beat a sugar addiction and take up eating wholesome foods.

From the simple first step of taking up walking, I have run countless ultramarathons, competed in rogaines, strongman, kettlebell sport, and my current main focus which is powerlifting. There are many more goals I wish to achieve.

I have come to realise that nothing is impossible and I want to share my passion for this with others.

My personal goal is to bring out the best in myself, and be the best person I possibly can. In turn, I aim to bring out the best in my clients, so that they too can be the best they possibly can.

I use a combination of:

  • Personal training
  • Nutrition advice
  • Mindset coaching
I am different to the other personal trainers you see at gyms. I take on the Bruce Lee attitude of absorbing what is useful, and discarding what is not.

Absorb what is useful. Discard what is not.

I do not follow the crowd. I do not believe in hype. I do not get on the latest bandwagon just because it’s all over the media. I am constantly striving to learn more about optimal health and fitness. But better than simply learning about things, I actively apply what I’ve learnt to myself and my clients. I encourage active thinking and proactive behaviour towards a healthy lifestyle. Buddha sums up my attitude: “Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”

Believe nothing... unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

I enjoy a collaborative approach to training with my clients. We work out goals, we decide what needs more work and what doesn’t. No client of mine gets a cookie-cutter style workout. You receive a unique program tailored towards your specific goals, which work around your own fitness level, injury history and current lifestyle. In fact, even if you feel below par coming into a session, I can easily adapt to you on the fly, and have you walking away feeling great again. Not only that, but I genuinely want you to enjoy your exercise. I love to challenge you with workouts that not only address your goals, but are actually fun to do.

I am always available for support by email, phone and text. This is to help you stay motivated, answer any questions you may have, and I’m always up for a bit of friendly banter.

I enjoy training people who want to be healthy, strong and fit. So if you need to lose some weight, train for your sport, gain some muscle or get strong and fit for life, then do not hesitate to get in touch. I’d love to talk to you :)

I am available for:

  • Personal training
  • Small group personal training (great for families)
  • Online training and program writing
  • Mindset coaching

I have some vacancies in my favourite gym in Doncaster East. I also have limited availability for mobile training in the Macleod/Greensborough/Eltham area. I can also take on plenty of online clients.

Basically what makes you and Wild Fitness different and awesome is that it is an individual service… Every person has their own program tailored to their needs, injuries or goals. Every session is planned and has a purpose… You’re always looking at new ways (experiments) of challenging people… [and] all the extras like, weekly challenges, newsletter, emails etc. – Susanna

You take a genuine interest in your clients and your passion for making a difference in their lives through health and fitness (in a holistic way), really shows… In my experience, you have always been able to adapt and respond to how clients are progressing. In a class situation, I think you’re also pretty good at thinking on your feet so that nobody misses out, even if they turn up feeling like rubbish. When I’ve turned up feeling awful for whatever reason, I’ve always left a session feeling refreshed (and knackered LOL) and having surprised myself… I would have to say that any remaining bad habits that were ingrained from years of disordered eating went out the window forever as a result of sticking with that February challenge. – Viviane

With just a few of the changes you suggested I feel like my running has improved hugely already. I tried your techniques out going for my jog on the weekend, and with just those few changes you taught me I now seem to be able to run much further and with less fatigue than before. It’s pretty amazing for someone who has never been any good at running! I also tried to explain what you’d told me to a jogging friend (although it was only the very basics) and she found that it had the same effect on her running. – Holly

You’re constantly reliable, engaged with your client. There’s always variety in the workouts. You’re always positive and you go above and beyond :) – Nat
